The very first stones of Labarthe were laid in the 17th century, and every year, restoration work is required…
During the era of the canons – who remained until the Revolution – and the estate’s significant wine-making activity, a vast cellar was built under the east wing of the main building. Today, the work is complete and this centuries-old vaulted room is once again in use. Within its stone walls, the wines are well stored and kept at a constant temperature.
Perhaps you will come for a tasting hosted by Guillaume?
Or for a more festive occasion, such as the recent candlelit cello recital accompanied by champagne!
Experience reserved exclusively for our guests during their stay at Labarthe.
