PIGEONNIER SUITE

This is the emblem of the domain, bearing witness to its main activity (wine) and its prosperity. The dove tower was built in the 18th century to house a large flock of doves and pigeons. You can still see the ‘randière’, a ledge of stones that runs round the tower, to stop pests from getting in. The manure was highly sought after as a fertiliser for the vines.

This split-level room of 55 sq. m. opens on to the main courtyard. At the ground level, the sitting room is decorated in pale greens, and furnished with a comfortable sofa, a bookcase and a television.
The kitchenette is well equipped for making simple meals: sink, fridge, two electric hotplates, a micro-wave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and kitchen utensils. Tableware includes crystal wine glasses, earthenware crockery and table linen.
The bedroom, on the first floor, looks out on to the courtyard and the garden to the west. Its 25 sq. m. hold a huge double bed (200 x 200cm) or, on request, two twin beds (100 x 200cm). The tiled bathroom has a bathtub with shower.

We can add an extra child’s bed in the sitting room or bedroom (not included in the price).
